To be the king of mountain races, we bring you the new AKASHA II TRAIL RUNNING SHOES, which have a high-performance system for optimal performance on uneven terrain.
These shoes are designed for long-distance races as they have an ergonomic, lightweight design and the necessary support for your protection. They are made with breathable and quick-drying materials that will keep you cool and dry at all times.
For greater comfort, it has a braided fastening system accompanied by a padded tongue. It presents a midsole and a sole made of rubber that guarantees greater cushioning and traction on all surfaces.
Technical and aesthetic re-design for the super-cushioned endurance Mountain Running® shoe designed for long-distance routes, UltraMarathons and prolonged use during training. Technical and aesthetic re-design of Akasha, shoe from the La Sportiva Mountain Running® collection dedicated to endurance competitions, perfect for long distance routes, UltraMarathons, Ultra-Trails and for prolonged use during training. The wearing comfort is given by the cushioning, thanks to the Cushion Platform ™ footbed insert and the large internal volumes as well as the soft, breathable and enveloping upper with Slip-on construction that avoids compression points during the race. The Dynamic ProTechTion ™ active front reinforcements provide protection and structure following the movement of the foot dynamically and without constriction. The gripping, dual compound FriXion® Red sole is equipped with the exclusive Trail Rocker ™ solution capable of promoting the natural external heel - internal toe movement of the foot during running. Ortholite® Hybrid laces and footbed are also made from recycled materials. Akasha II: the ultra-runner´s code is expressed through protection, comfort and cushioning.

EVA - INJECTED:
- Highe degree of cushoning and high elasticity of the fabric. These features assist “push off” during the propulsion phase while running, making these models who use injected midsoles, ideal for use on off-road trails. Furthermore, EVA Injected midsole drastically reduce the “squash” effect of the EVA over time, allowing the product to mantain the same features for its entire duration.
The Mountain Running® models use the exclusive eco-friendly La Sportiva insoles by OrthoLite® Hybrid, made using 20% recycled material from the production process. These insoles are designed for both men’s and women’s feet and the thicknesses and materials differ to suit the weight of the average user.
- Eco-friendly and washable: they contain recycled rubber and are machine-washable.
- Maximum wearing comfort thanks to the insole ventilation and the highly breathable PU foam cells: the foot is always dry and kept at the perfect temperature.

I have 290mm long feet. I tried 46 and 47 Akasha's but they didn't fit. Now with 46.5, I'm very happy. One slight downside is that the insole is degrading the upper layer quite quickly. But I might change to a custom insole anyway so it doesn't affect me much: Currex HikePro High arch. I've used the Akasha 2 in my correct size for about 100km on a 5 days hike in Norway's Jotunheimen: through rocks, ridges, snow, high peaks, and swamps. They felt good wet and dry, with great grip.

Second pair and I just love them! Put them on for the first time on a 25K trail run in Zagreb, Croatia had no issues fits same as the old pair. Light and super grippy, love them!

Buenas tardes. I am interested in buying this model, but I have never had La Sportiva shoes and I have doubts about the size. I have been told that in this brand you have to buy larger ones. I currently have Hoka Speedgoat in size 48 (13USA - 31cm). What would be the size that I have to buy for the Akasha II? Thank you.

I wear 41.5 on these, 41 and 1/3 on the Speedgoot, so it´s very similar. According to the la sportiva size chart below the product description, 31 cm corresponds to EU48, UK 13, US 14
