- CE branding on boots indicates the conformity of the product based on the European Directive 89/686/CEE and Regulation (EU) 2016/425. In particular this compliance has been verified and certified through CE certification and lab tests according to the corresponding norm EN 13634. European Standard EN 13634 includes two performance levels in terms of the protection afforded. Within standard EN 13634 “Level 1” performance is deemed as the minimum level required, “Level 2” offers increased performance.

than 3 cm2 when tested in accordance with either:
- A walk of 100 steps on a suitable platform with water level of 30mm.
- A toe-flexing machine test of 80 minutes with water level of 20 mm. above the featherline.
- At the successful completiona of either this tests the boot is considered waterproof.
