Strong. Strong. Heavy and well done. As it has a spring, it resists shocks very well. The previous one we had broke several times. If you go straight to the wall, you don't need a board. You can put 4 screws, I only put 2 and that's perfect.

The ring is heavier than I thought! This confirms how sturdy and good it is. I easily attached the ring to a plate and anchored the plate with the ring to the wall. I give you one tip! It is very difficult to tighten the bolts when tightening the bolts. Use rings to fill in the bolts so you can always use a socket wrench. Top product and top quality! I got the ring on very well. An elephant can hang on this, it will never come loose! The only downside is that the plug bolts are not included. That would make it much easier.
